Hi there
I try to make tac_plus write just the accounting information to the database. To do so I defined this statement in my configuration:

accounting db = "mysql://tacacs:tac_plus@localhost/tacacs/accounting"

Restarting the daemon I get this message:

Restarting Tacacs+ server: Error: expecting 'file' but found 'db' on line 14 tac_plus.

...which implies to me that there is no db support in my binary, even I configured it using the options --with-db and --with-mysql. I could not find the point in the source so it would be great to get an idea.

Hi,

I just want to say that i like you website because you offer solutions/ideeas not just technical facts like many of the useless technical blogs out there.
I was also a network engineer at some ISP but now switched to enterprise(more money) and i kinda miss the ISP world which i see depicted in your posts.
Anyway good job with the blog!

Espen,

could you please just add mask to the config for BGP so that it'll be:

BGP: network 10.0.0.1 mask 255.255.255.0
